As of March 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to limit guests. Notice of any guests must be made at the time of booking. Guests are required to wear a mask. This is to help us control and limit the number of clients in the shop at the same time.
Common Questions
For hygienic reasons, we have a no refunds, no exchanges policy. We do not charge for a consultation, and you are more than welcome to browse our online store and make an appointment with us to view the item before buying a wig or hairpiece.

we sell. This contract is intended to provide you with our guarantees and offer
the highest level of protection, to honor how much we value you and hope you
value us.
We ask that you read this very carefully before making your purchase.
We request that you kindly ask questions if there is something you do not understand or seems unclear. We hope you realise that by keeping to the terms of this Agreement both you, the Buyer (as defined herein) and Tymeless Necessity Hair, the Company (as defined herein), have the basis for an ongoing and hopeful relationship. Together, we are the Parties to this Agreement. Together we are the collaborators of your new wig and hopefully decisions to continue our relationship long into the future.
Terms of Purchase and Contract
Application
These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of any Tymeless Necessity Hair product.
These are the terms by which products (wigs, wefts, closures, toppers and any other hair pieces) have been produced by Tymeless Necessity Hair (the “Seller”) and sold to you (the
“Purchaser”). By going ahead with an order, you agree to adhere to these Terms and Conditions.
Goods
The Goods are bespoke hand-made hairpieces made to the individual specific requirements of each
Purchaser.
During the initial consultation, an order will be made out outlining all the information discussed and agreed.
It’s important that you read through the order thoroughly before agreeing to go ahead with the production process.
The order includes price and details of how the hairpiece will be made. This includes the foundation, attachments, density, style and hair samples for colours.
Any changes to the order made by you once commencement is underway; such as foundation changes, change of hair colour or hair length will only be possible at the additional cost to you for any additional hair and materials, as well as additional work if required.
Price and Payment
The price of the desired hairpiece will be quoted succeeding the consultation. Any
additional charges such as travel costs to client’s homes or hospitals will be
included in the total cost outlined in the order.
1. Deposit: A
payment of 50% of the total price for the hairpiece is required
upfront as the Deposit. This payment must be made either by cash, credit
card or bank transfer. The deposit payment must clear in the chosen account of
Tymeless Hair Necessity prior to the onset of the production process of the
desired hairpiece. This deposit is non-refundable once paid; however, this
amount will be deducted from the final hairpiece cost. Your full name must be used as the reference when payment is made.
2. Final payment: The remaining payment must be made on receipt of the hairpiece.
The final payment can be paid either by cash, or EFT or credit card. If paying by EFT the funds will need to clear before collection of the wig. By which point by hairpiece becomes property of the Purchaser. Here again, please use your full name as the reference.
Withdrawal and Cancellation
Cancellation at any point during the production process will mean you will be liable for the
deposit amount of the hairpiece (50% of the total hairpiece cost).
Quality, Style and Colour
The Purchaser must understand that every Tymeless Necessity Hair item is a specialty
made to order, with specifications to size, shape, quality, style and colour
which is a labour and time intensive to ensure that the needs to the Purchaser are met. Purchaser understands that only the highest quality natural human hair is used in the production process which is subject to the nuances of the medium.
Tymeless Necessity Hair works together to craft the wig to the Buyer’s specifications during the production period. Tymeless Necessity
Hair understands, however, that unforeseen events can happen and will extend
the Production Period for an additional three weeks (maximum)…notice of which
will be given to you.
While Tymeless Necessity Hair shall endeavour to make each hairpiece to the Purchaser’s exact and precise specifications, including but not limited to colour, style and length, because we use only natural human hair, there can be slight variations in the colour just as there would be if the hair were to be Buyer’s
own natural hair. The colour can oxidize with time, just as human hair and
should be understood in that context. The style can change slightly due to
weather conditions, changes of season and all variables that affect human hair.
As such Tymeless Necessity Hair reserves the right to charge the Purchaser for
any changes to colour or length of an ordered item beyond one-month
post-receipt of the hairpiece.
The hairpieces upon receipt will:
(a) Comply in all material respects with the order confirmation;
(b) Be of excellent quality;
(c) Be fit for any purpose recommended by Tymeless
Necessity Hair;
(d) Be free from material defects in design, material and workmanship;
(e) Due to the nature of this product Tymeless Necessity Hair offers no guarantees on longevity.
A haircare instruction booklet and training are given to enable confidence and skill handling and wearing your hairpiece. You will be given step by step instructions on how to wash and style
your hairpiece.
Tymeless Necessity Hair is not responsible for:
(a) Fair wear and tear;
(b) Use of the hairpiece in a way that is not recommended;
(c) Failure to follow the recommended guidance and instructions;
(d) Any alteration or repair carried out by anyone other than Tymeless Necessity Hair.
(e) Damages in respect to washing and styling the hairpiece done by an external party.
(f) The use of heated styling aids, colours and cutting the wig incorrectly;
Tymeless Hair Necessity provides the following aftercare services which are at an
extra cost depending on the required work to be done:
(a) Full wash and set
(b) Hairpiece service (6 – 8 months succeeding the collection of the hairpiece)
(c) Any changes over time that you may want to be made.
At Tymeless Necessity Hair, our goal is to provide our customers with the highest quality products and customer satisfaction is paramount and our number one priority. All of the items created at Tymeless Necessity Hair are crafted by hand, inspected multiple times before dispatch to ensure the highest quality and craftsmanship and therefore a pleasant shopping
experience.
Tymeless Necessity Hair guarantees the workmanship and craftsmanship of each final product for the first month (‘initial period’) post-delivery/pick-up
against any wear and tear related to the normal use. Any defects after the initial period will be charged for accordingly.
As of April 1, 2020, Tymeless Necessity Hair will NOT be
offering returns or exchanges on any of its products pertaining to hair. THERE
ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO BE MADE.
Tymeless
Necessity Hair will NOT take in hairpieces if there is an issue after the
initial period (30 days) of your piece.
This practice has come into effect from 01 April 2020.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all raw bundles of hair will be left in isolation
for a period of 3 days and sanitised prior to being worked on.
Our professional Customer Support Team is at your service any time.
Changes to terms and conditions
Tymeless Necessity Hair, at its sole discretion, can change these T&C’s or any part thereof
at any time it deems necessary.
If such changes does occur, Tymeless Necessity Hair will notify you of any such changes via email to the email address which is on record for you. You will then be responsible for reading the revised T&C’s and ensuring that you are satisfied therewith and satisfied.
This Purchase and Contract is
governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
In terms of Section 45 of the Magistrates Court Act, No. 32 of 1944, (as amended), the
Purchaser hereby consents to the jurisdiction of the Magistrates Court having jurisdiction in terms of Section 28 of the said Act in respect of any action to be instituted against the Purchaser by the Company in terms of the Contract. It shall nevertheless be entirely within the discretion of the Company as to whether to proceed against the Purchaser in such Magistrates Court or any other
court having jurisdiction.

Yes, Virgin Hair can be coloured/ textured to suit your own unique needs. If the product is from our range of International colours or enhanced curl it is advised not to colour/texture the hair further, for best results. Any cutting or chemical processes, such as perming or colouring, should always be done by a professional hairstylist. We do not recommend lifting or bleaching human hair; depositing colour provides the best result. We use the Joico Natural Range with LumiShine that transforms hair from the inside out with breakthrough ArgiPlex Technology, delivering astonishing shine, colour longevity, and overall healthier-looking hair – guaranteed! The colour choices are just amazing and you will be spoilt for choice!
Products from our Brushed Texture range can be brushed/ combed. However, to retain the enhanced curl pattern of the Styled Textures do not brush or comb the hair. Gently cleanse it with a mild shampoo, and apply conditioner to maintain the look. The same hair if you brush it thoroughly will have a different curly (puffy) look. In this case, after the conditioner wash, it will regain its enhanced structure to an extent but there will be a difference in the curl pattern.
We can size your wig to fit your head. This service is also included in the price of your wig, though it can take us a few days.
All our wigs feature imported Swiss lace frontals, which allows you to part your hair in any direction, is durable, lightweight, and breathable. All our wigs are made using medical customised wig caps, making them perfect for those suffering from hair loss due to medical conditions such as cancer treatment or alopecia. The wig cap is made of very soft Swiss Net, which is breathable and does not burn or itch on the scalp. You do not have to worry about the wig slipping off, even if you have severe hair loss. All our wigs adhere to the wig cap and give you an extra measure of security.
Human hair wigs can be treated as you would natural hair. The hair can be heat styling with tools such as straighteners, blow dryers, or curling irons. Keep in mind that wearable hair does not benefit from naturally occurring oils from the scalp. Therefore, it is important to hydrate and condition hair daily. Using a wig brush or comb gently brush through your wig. Rinse the wig in cold water, with the water flowing in the same direction as the hair to avoid tangling. Do not soak it in a basin. Using your fingertips and a mild shampoo apply the shampoo evenly throughout the hair. Rinse with cold water flowing in the same direction as the hair to remove shampoo. Remove excess water by gently patting with a towel. Do not wring or squeeze. Condition the wig with a wig conditioner, using your fingertips to apply the conditioner evenly throughout the hair. Remove the conditioner by rinsing with cold water. To remove excess water, pat gently with a soft towel. Do not squeeze or wring. Allow your wig to air dry on a folding wig stand.

For the safety of both our clients, and our staff, bookings are essential and we do not allow walk-ins. Because your privacy, comfort, and safety are of the utmost importance to us, our boutique is located in a stand alone building, not on a main street, or shopping centre.

The hair is brought to our factory where our artisans carefully sort and grade the hair according to colour, texture and length. The hair then goes through a thorough yet gentle cleaning process whereby we use a deep stripping shampoo and conditioner methodically developed so that we are able to strip the strands of treatment products and colours to bring the hair back to its original form. Once the hair is ready, it is sent to specialised departments to be crafted into various products. Our, experienced Quality Control team carefully scrutinise the products at every step of the process from the time the hair reaches the factory ensuring only the best is made ready and available for our wigs, extensions, halos, wefts, toppers, and all other hairpieces.
